Random Observations

When my daughters made their first trip to the dentist they each received a new toothbrush and brush cover. I can't decide if Sue-Sue's is an alligator or a crocodile. Apparently I've called it both, because yesterday she asked me where her "crocagator" was.
The other day Roo had her mouth stuffed with chicken nuggets and kept asking grandma for "baby socks." We finally figured out she was saying "barbeque sauce," but now we call it baby socks just for the laugh.
I took the girls for a walk yesterday and we when we stopped to look at some flowers we realized we were standing next to a rabbit. Tortilla didn't see the rabbit and nearly stepped on it. The rabbit ran away and for the rest of the walk Tortilla called herself the "bunny chaser."
Cakes refuses to wear pants unless they're rolled up above her knees. She apparently wants to wear shorts and thinks this is the next best solution.
Just some random things that have been making me laugh... have a great Friday!

It's the random things that make us smile that are the best to write down so we can remember and preserve those sweet little moments before they slip our minds. :) mmmmm...."baby socks" :)

It's so funny to hear the things kids come up with.

MaryAnne: Emma's quotes today were pretty funny. I swear I wrote this before I even looked at your blog. Toddlers are always entertaining.

One day we were driving to the store, and my daughter kept saying, "I want whiz-was!" I had no idea what she was saying. She kept saying it over and over, and she was really getting upset because I couldn't understand her. Finally, I remembered that one of the girls I was babysitting had brought the movie Wizard of Oz! She was so happy that I finally knew what she was saying.

My sister used to call 7-Up "Zip." It took us awhile to figure out what she meant, but now I have to stop myself from calling it that when I'm around her LOL

So, funny. Sam does the same thing and some of the stuff we can't even figure where they come from.

Thanks for the comment on my blog design. If you're interested, I have a link on my site to Leelou Blogs. She has very simple directions and lots of good choices for fun new templates. It took a while for me to decide on my current choice. I may end up switching it often.

I may have to check that out. I've been trying to figure out what I want this site to look like.
