I'm sure the girls loved helping with the baking, and it sounds like they were more than happy to eat their mistake.

I'm so bummed that I got behind on blogging and missed entering your giveaway. I love memoirs too. I'll just have to pester MandyE to send it my way when she's done. :o)Renaehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08318311170413043717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998204900912962092.post-88411802475906090732011-04-26T09:15:58.634-06:002011-04-26T09:15:58.634-06:00Those cakes are cute!

At least he did it AFTER they were dyed.

I celebrated my sixth birthday with my cousin, who was turning three the same day. My mom baked the cake, and my brother somehow stuck his elbow in it. She used jelly beans to fill in the hole, and everybody fought over who got the jelly bean pieces!MaryAnnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13253503049272771754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998204900912962092.post-83219502011781720002011-04-26T08:47:29.975-06:002011-04-26T08:47:29.975-06:00I think I did some of the blown out eggs when I wa...I think I did some of the blown out eggs when I was younger. I remember it being time consuming, but it could be a better alternative than 24 hard boiled eggs!Quadmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12811147214370454309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998204900912962092.post-78354031397032002372011-04-26T08:35:30.723-06:002011-04-26T08:35:30.723-06:00Its hard with little ones because they are so frag...Its hard with little ones because they are so fragile, but try blowing out a few eggs. You can refrigerate the egg after blown from the shell for 3 days and use it for scrambled eggs or baking. I like to let the kids each pick one special blown egg to save. Glad your family had a good easter.Melissa Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13223170707265595091noreply@blogger.com
