Our furry babies are such a part of our families. My thoughts are with you, your hubby, and your girls.MandyE (Twin Trials and Triumphs)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02510155408149227364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998204900912962092.post-13330744948700731012011-01-17T16:08:50.767-07:002011-01-17T16:08:50.767-07:00So very sorry for your loss, Quadfamily. I hope your girls (and you!) are feeling better about the whole thing. (I'm commenting a few days after the fact.) One of our two cats was killed by a dog (the circle of life in action) a little over a year ago. Our girls were too young to really understand but of course I still get teary-eyed thinking about her!Meghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09221624030193563967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998204900912962092.post-22014873430665485152011-01-12T22:11:22.936-07:002011-01-12T22:11:22.936-07:00I'm so very sorry for your loss. That was one of the only 2 times I've ever witnessed my father cry. A few years ago, ...I am so, so sorry for your loss. A few years ago, we had to put my husband's cat, Madeline, down. Madeline was not a particularly friendly cat. Had never really shown any affection towards me and never lived in our house (she stayed with my in-laws). But I cried as though I'd just lost a close friend. Like it or not, she had grown on me, and it had been so hard to watch her deteriorate and then finally pass. My heart goes out to you and your family. Let the good memories be with you forever.Renaehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08318311170413043717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998204900912962092.post-12812266789719846412011-01-12T11:57:28.560-07:002011-01-12T11:57:28.560-07:00Losing my dog sent me to a dark place. I'm so sorry to hear you lost a special friend. :(Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03133112426691403173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998204900912962092.post-87102093902355916592011-01-12T10:45:29.927-07:002011-01-12T10:45:29.927-07:00Rest In Peace, Hootie. My grandparents found him in the middle of a snowstorm the winter before I was born, and he died when I was 21 or 22 years old. I remember him catching birds when he was both nearly blind and fully deaf. I'm sorry you've lost your wonderful cat.MaryAnnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13253503049272771754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998204900912962092.post-87858761877117371682011-01-12T10:40:30.417-07:002011-01-12T10:40:30.417-07:00It is never easy.
