The mom who called yesterday said she had the same problem last year when she invited the entire class... only 1 RSVP... and only 1 showed up. So she's determined to come to our party and make a lot of noise and help ensure the kids have a blast. Fine with me!Quadmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12811147214370454309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998204900912962092.post-32089717707492631742009-09-15T09:12:20.735-06:002009-09-15T09:12:20.735-06:00What's up with the RSVP problem in this countr...What's up with the RSVP problem in this country?! I have experienced it all over the years—everyone RSVPing, nobody RSVPing, receiving RSVPs the day of the event(!), and people showing up without ever RSVPing.

My first thought about your situation is that most of the parents probably didn't look at the stuff their 4-year-olds brought home and pitched the invites without realizing it. So you're either going to have to follow up with a phone call or email . . . or just expect a low turnout (and the kids will still have a BLAST with just a few friends!)Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11117084634845147874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998204900912962092.post-51860832263012581592009-09-15T06:33:58.964-06:002009-09-15T06:33:58.964-06:00It's BuhBuhpaloza in our house....tomorrow is ...It's BuhBuhpaloza in our house....tomorrow is his actual bday with lots planned but we are also stretching it out over the week. I've had 3 people RSVP for his kid party and need to turn numbers in soon because there is a price change if you have 9 kids! I'm hoping for 8!!!!! For my girls 1st birthday party last Valentines Day, we had 3 people show up on time, and everyone else was an hour and a half late. Kind of a food nightmare. So annoying. Their excuse? "We keep island time!" Grrrr. Wish people were more party considerate. But anyway- Happy Happy birthday to your lovely little ladies :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998204900912962092.post-27822194319571903032009-09-14T21:18:41.572-06:002009-09-14T21:18:41.572-06:00We had that happen at our wedding. I think RSVP etiquette has really fallen by the wayside - which is extremely annoying when you're trying to host an event.
